Tomb raider
If you don't already know, the new tomb raider game has been pushed back to march 5, 2013. As inconvenient as this is to gamers, patience is certainly a virtue, and produces better overall gameplay quality in the long run. I was never really a BIG fan of the tomb raider game series, but from what I've heard about their re-envisioning of the game franchise, Im actually excited to see what the outcome is.

"mass effect 4" in development!
Ok ok, its not really gonna be called mass effect 4...at least I don't think it will. from what I've researched, shepherd will not be the protagonist in this next game. We all have our opinions about the ending of the last installment, mostly VERY negative -p.s. I concur, I think if shepherd were a gamer the ending would've left him sick on the floor of a public bathroom.
but If your still very much invested in the universe, the culture, the feel, the look, the cinematography, the script, the voice-acting, the general storyline, the gameplay and the characters of the mass effect series, you'll be as excited as I am to see whats next. Personally, I think its too big of an idea to just throw down the tubes after the trilogy is done, theres so much more that they can do with it! anyways, this is a quote from www.ibtimes.com: "Last month BioWare confirmed that a completely new “Mass Effect” game was in development. Executive producer of the series Casey Hudson further explained the game’s progress last Friday, posting to Twitter that production is in its early stages. On Monday, even more details about the fourth “Mass Effect” installment have begun to surface."

If you were to read further you would find out that the next game will be using the same game engine that was the foundation for battlefield 3. There have been numerous quotes from casey hudson and the developer that works under him about the game, so this is not just a rumor, Its being planned and developed as we speak, heres to hoping they get the next ending right!

Your texts can now be used against you in a court of law!
Thats right, from what I've researched and read, your texts may very well be held and stored by your phone company for legal reasons. this was posted by www.nerd-news.com in one of their articles: "Since the explosion in usage of text messages, they have been involved in just about everything ranging from the root causes of divorce, to elaborate April Fool's jokes, all the way to being used as evidence in drug trafficking cases." personally, I want my texts to stay personal, although I don't think I've texted anything particularly incriminating, I'm not sure I want a lawyer picking through them to find one that he can use out of context. The prospect of personal privacy just seems to be dwindling every moment, so be careful what you say america, It might just get you jail time.
Where to buy knives?
All males have asked this question while aimlessly browsing the inter-web for knives and various (and often pointless) weaponry. Well I've decided to give one of my sources for a great deal: www.knife-kingdom.com
Their knives are cheap in price, they have top quality brands (and mediocre quality, depending on how cheap you really need it to be) but the most important thing to me is the cheap shipping. Now I live in hawaii mostly and shipping is almost NEVER cheap to get things there, but this site has the absolute cheapest price I've seen out of any knife, tazer, self defense gear and other misc. items. Im not getting paid or anything to promote them, this is simply my personal opinion an preference. Honestly I just want their buisness to keep running because I like them a lot. More customers means they keep running, and make more money to continue to carry more and better products at a good price.
When you see a picture of mountains over a lake, you've found the right site.

The next hobbit movie
I'm sure you've seen or at least heard of the new hobbit movie franchise which I am particularly excited about. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to see the movie yet, but I have a little piece of news about the NEXT hobbit movie of which there is supposed to be three. Legolas is making a reappearance (more like a pre-appearance) In the next hobbit movie, despite his absence from the actual book. Honestly I don't mind him being there, I mean elves live a long time, right? who knows how long Legolas has been around.

Alien vs Predator...3???
Ok, so despite all of the negative feedback and inevitable criticism of my opinions on the subject, I will say: I really have enjoyed the AvP franchise so far. yes, some acting was mediocre, yes, the story is overused; however, the special effects, blood and gore and complete grotesque scenes really gets my blood pumping. and to be honest, the storyline is not bad, especially when you consider 90% of the sci-fi movies they play on tv that kindergardeners could write better. seriously, I've heard some great stories from kindergardeners.all joking aside, the AvP series so far is entertaining, and that, my friends, is the purpose of "entertainment" now, onto the main event! a website called "www.shocktillyoudrop.com" posted this: “An anonymous source over at 20th Century Fox got in touch with us over the weekend to relay the news another Aliens vs. Predator sequel is a ‘certainty’ at this point. If you recall, the brothers Strause – who helmed the Christmas release Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem – stated Fox was going to take a ‘wait-and-see’ approach to a third chapter, furthermore, that the story would have to continue in space.” so for all of you sci-fi fans out there, brace yourselves.

Mass effect movie news
So, according to various and unnamed sources, Ive come upon a few bits of info about the (hopefully) upcoming mass effect movie, there is still some controversy as to whether the movie will be based solely on the game or the novels, but from what I gather, It's going to be based on neither. Thats right, apparently an entirely new storyline is being forged by Mark Protosevich, probably best known for writing the screenplays of "I AM LEGEND". the main character, its been decided, will be a male commander shepherd, which I am personally glad to hear. I don't know how exactly they plan to pull off the storyline if its even loosely related to the reaper threat, in one movie, that is, however; i did like I am legend, and look forward to see if they kept true to the source material. One sad piece of news is that seth green (voice and model for joker) will not be portraying joker in the feature film as of now. but as we mourn the absence of our beloved pilot, and continue to rant and rave about the trilogies ending, which left something to be desired, let us celebrate with a bit of exciting, and just released content.
Skyrim has a new mod out for the 360, which Im sure any self-respecting nerd, geek, and gaming enthusiast has heard of: hearthfire! If for some reason you've been hiding under a rock, or atop a mountain for the past few weeks, well, your probably dead if its the first and if its the second, your crazy, winters coming and your gonna freeze up there. In either case, heres what hearthfire is:
